As a young Indigenous female, she feels the need to bring awareness to her friends and family as our own family has been impacted by this. It means a lot to her to help raise funds to donate back to an organization that supports and brings about awareness of this very difficult issue.

Unifor stands united with the families of murdered and missing Indigenous women and girls and calls on the Trudeau government to place the well-being of Indigenous women, girls, and two-spirited at the top of the legislative agenda.
